Imploding frustration

I started to joke with my other half/sister from another mister earlier today about how aggravated I was getting with the f*ckery that is my life. . .

Okay, things are not that bad, they could always be worse, and yes - I like to be optimistic 97% of the time and jump for joy when things actually do work out. However, the rain and dreariness lurking around Long Island and ultimately messin' up my hair has my emotions running all out of wack, so I apologize for starting this blog off with a whiny entry. Just let me rock. Besides, you might as well get use to it because this blog is going to feature a lot of segments like this one.

So here it is, like a true college student, the source of my current frustration: My Beef with the Bursar's Office.

My school has a really delayed system of letting you register online that they just implemented. Fine. What I didn't know was that, like online shopping (which I really should be an expert at by now), if you don't "purchase" your classes from a "shopping cart", you don't register. It's like the classes are in Neverland and not going anywhere. So I go through weeks of thinking I'm registered for ultra specific Fall classes and find out today that I'm NOT. They're just registered in my shopping cart, apparently.

I get that I'm probably the only one who was silly enough for have this problem, but I am still frustrated nonetheless. And I'm picking a fight with my Bursar and every Bursar's office across the country for not understanding that no money=block=me not being able to pay any balance off block because of the aforementioned lack of money.

In short, I can't register for classes and it's irking me to no end.

The other thing I certainly don't appreciate is Ray J's adorable lil self choosing Cocktail instead of Unique on For the love of Ray J last night. Now, I don't think any of the hookers gracing his presence had anything on K. Kardashian (like not even a little bit) but at least Unique was different. . . ish. . .


For those who aren't reality TV junkies like myself, the watered-down, K. Kardashian look-a-like on the right is Cocktail. The one sportin' the confused blonde afro is Unique. They're both "no's" in my opinion but I like that Unique stayed overly conservative throughout the whole show while Cocktail was just all over the place - & a snitch! She's cute, but like I said. . .both of them should have been eliminated or Unique should have been chosen. I don't even care that she has the mentality of an old woman - she kept it real with the other finalist (Danger) who got dismissed for finally waving her freak flag in front of RJ.
